Results are informational
Scan results are intended as a helpful reading of the document in front of you. Treat them as informational only and always rely on the physical passport and the issuing authority as the source of truth.
No certification
No regulator or certifying body has reviewed or approved PassVerity's parsing. The result is an informational transcription, not a regulated identity or document decision.

Does PassVerity upload anything to the cloud?＋
Document images, MRZ data, passport-chip data, face images, and face embeddings are not uploaded. Reading and face processing run on your device. Separate providers handle limited purchase, advertising, crash-diagnostic, and notification data as described in the privacy policy.
Are my passport photo and data stored anywhere?＋
Document and face data remains in the active scan flow and temporary data is discarded when the related screens close.
Can someone screenshot my results?＋
Screenshots and normal screen capture are blocked while the app is active. The security-sensitive screens and flows also refuse image picker input.
Is this a government-approved reader?＋
No. PassVerity is an independent consumer tool. It is not certified for identity proofing, border control, travel decisions, or any official purpose.
